What is Forever?

Forever in a day

Or a lifetime of the dark,

What is forever and what is it to you

Is it fortune and fame that never tires

Is it love and passion that is never extinguished

Is it to gain without loss and keep gaining?

Nothing lasts forever

But for it to feel like forever you must lose something to it

Be it mind, body or spirit

You put out love to gain love

You put out work to gain fortune

And you put out yourself to gain fame

Is striving for a goal and another goal and another

Truly what forever is?

A never ending cycle you must continue.
