Bluebird Speak
I sat on the corner
Feet to the ground and head to the sky
Watching birds as they fly,
But then a bird stopped
And from its mouth words dropped,
It said do you like what you see
To enter the sky like fish to the sea,
Stuck to the ground am I
And the bird asked why,
Because I am made that way
Well then who is to say?
That I am bound to the ground
You should know how I get around,
Planes, ships, helicopters and boats
I soar to space and cross any moats,
And what of you bird bound to a colour
A bluebird mistaken for no other
The bird answered
I am content why, would I change
And your excuse for such a wide range?
